The Quiznite is an event where corporate teams come together and are quizzed by a moderator for a chance to win money. Discripancies was the winning team of the evening. Last Tuesday, the governor also celebrated his 56th birthday at the Kileleshwa, Nairobi based EK Centre. It was a colourful occasion as the guests got to enjoy a delicious cake and Moet Champagne. A new exhibition dubbed the Poetic Line showcasing work from the legendary Nsukka Art School from Nigeria opened at the Goethe Institut in Nairobi last Thursday. The 30-year collection of drawings and poetry synchronises the feel of political, economic and social injustices. The exhibition is showcasing the work of famed Nigerian artists El Anatsui, Obiora Udechukwu and Olu Oguibe. The curator, Ulf Vierke, from Iwalewa-Haus University, Bayreuth, Germany said, "The art tells the sad story of the Biafra War in Nigeria in the 1960s."
