It is always one of the biggest sporting spectacles on the football front whenever AFC leopards meets Gor Mahia. Their matches are now referred to as the shemeji (in-law) derby. The name shemeji is used because the core fans of the two sides originate from neighbouring counties. Last Sunday the Nyayo Stadium was filled to the brim with fans from both sides of the divide.
